Inspiration Point lives up to its name with panoramic views of the Smoky Mountain ridges. Located on the Alum Cave Trail approximately 2 miles from the trailhead, it makes an excellent destination for those not continuing to the bluffs or Mt. LeConte. The trail to this point is moderate to strenuous with steady elevation gain. Clear days offer spectacular visibility.
