The Tennessee Theatre is a magnificently restored 1928 movie palace on Gay Street in downtown Knoxville. With 1,631 seats and a Mighty Wurlitzer organ, it hosts the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, Broadway touring shows, major concerts, and classic film screenings. The Spanish-Moorish interior is a landmark in its own right.
